British Troops in Afghanistan

According to a news source, Britain announced that its troop numbers in Afghanistan will peak this year at 5,700, with the deployment of thousands of fresh soldiers as part of NATO's occupying force there.
The 4600 additional troops include 3300 for a special force task with reconstruction and fighting against the drug trade in a dangerous district in southern Afghanistan.
